Big Shot

This post is mainly for all my "crafty" friends.

I need some input on the Big Shot. Tell me what you love about it; tell me any negatives (if there are any). I'm debating asking for one for my birthday, but want to hear exactly what it can do before I decide for sure!

Also, related to crafting, we had Card Club Tuesday night at Ellen's house. She came up with the cutest original design of a beach scene complete with sandpaper for the beach. You can check it out on Jennifer's blog. I really enjoy the evenings of visiting with friends and having someone else come up with the ideas and do the clean up!

Oh, and check out this blog for a great idea on looking at all the SU! colors. Some of you may already have a system for this, but I always have to pull out all my papers to find new color combos! This is a genius idea! Already printed out my templates.

The fam is headed to a family reunion this weekend and not a lame-o one, but one where we actually know all the people! I'm excited to see my brother and my cousins and their families! My aunt and uncle are graciously hosting us at their place and it's paradise in the country. Much relaxing, great fun, and delicious food are on the agenda for the weekend!

I hope you all have something fun and special to kick-off SUMMER!

Well, I think you know my answer. I love it. Check out my blog tomorrow to see what I did with it, non-paper craft. There are tons of dies I want. Its super easy to use. I love that you can personalize anything with it. I think its an awesome tool for moms. There are many types of materials that you can use with the Big Shot. Your not limited to just paper. The only down side for me is I don't have enough time to play with it.

Oh, the family reunion sounds fun. I like the ones where you actually know people too, people you don't get to see often. I have one this June that I'm going to. Have fun and be safe!

I do like my big shot, and one of the reasons I bought it with christams money was the opportunity to expand. Not that I don't already have enough stamp sets and supplies, but just more options. I really like punches becuase they are exact, and the big shot is the same way. I also like that it's super easy to use...the cricut just seems complicated to me, and the cartridges are very expensive. I also like that stampin' up makes dies that coordinate with other stamp sets, etc.

Have fun at the reunion!

Have fun at your reunion. We will miss you tomorrow at the make n take. As far as the big shot, I don't own it yet. I'm currently using my Cuttlebug b/c most of the big shot dies fit in it. I love the end result - neat clean lines and awesome shapes.
